Investigation of the Relevance of Platelet Alpha Granules for Postoperative Liver Regeneration in a Mouse Model of Partial Hepatectomy

Introduction: Platelet alpha granule release was previously associated to development of liver dysfunction after resection. However, the relevance platelet degranulation in regeneration has not been elucidated thus far. Here we aimed investigate differences between mice lacking granules and wild type individuals partial hepatectomy (pHx).
